Our Adult Day Treatment & Training Program, Life Lessons, serves high school graduates and adults with developmental disabilities and provides a caring, supportive environment for members to develop the skills necessary to live more independent and self-sufficient lives. We encourage each individual to discover their own talents that may spark growth in other areas of life. Personal goals vary by member (e.g cooking a favorite meal, making a purchase at the sore, purchasing and downloading favorite music, internet safety, and more). Each participant is encouraged in a variety of both small and large group activities that increase and reinforce skills and socialization in a fun and relaxed environment. We also provide a variety of volunteer opportunities to develop essential skills. Additionally, there are many other growth areas we explore regularly such as current events, recreation (both indoor and outdoor), individual outcomes, personal choice, group activities, special events, and community partnerships.
