ABA is a scientific discipline based upon the principles of learning to change socially significant behaviors. ABA therapy will look at your child's natural motivators and determine how best to utilize those to modify certain behaviors.
Liberty Center for Language and Learning, LLC provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and youth under the age of 18. We serve children enrolled in the Division of Developmental Disabilities and Arizona Long Term Care. Our approach focuses on the family, not just the individual with autism. Together we form a team that works together to teach, nurture, and develop skills of social significance.
Attendant Care is a Home and Community Based Service (HCBS) designed to maintain an individual's health and safety within their environment and assist with their personal care needs. This service is based on specific needs as identified by the individual (or individual's family) and assisted by the Direct Support Provider. Additional Training is required for this service
Habilitation is a Home and Community Based Service (HCBS) offered through Liberty Center for adults and children with developmental disabilities. Habilitation providers are responsible for providing care to members based on their current set of goals and skill development. It is used to increase independence in individuals and offer support services including improving communication, learning adaptive skills, independent living, and any other goals set by the support team.
Respite care is offered through Liberty Center to adults and children with developmental disabilities. Respite, a Home and Community Based Service (HCBS), is primarily used to give caregivers a break from the emotional demands of providing continuous care to someone who has a disability. Respite care services include self-care skills, social skills, community activities, and assistance in communication. Respite care maybe be used hourly or daily.
Through the Division of Developmental Disabilities (South), Liberty Center is a qualified vendor. For seven weeks every summer we offer a theme based summer program that incorporates sensory, gross and fine motor tasks, socialization, arts and crafts, games, and cooking. Goals are set for the 7 week session and tracked weekly. DTS is designed to be a fun summer activity that allows individuals to maintain a schedule that assists with maintaining skills while away from the routine of school.
